I Guarantee You've Never Heard Of This Workout - But You'll Love It! June 05, 2008 |
----------------------------------------------------------- If you enjoy these e-mails, please feel free to forward them to a friend, co-workers, relative, spouse, or anyone else who could use the information! ----------------------------------------------------------- This past month I tried going back to the gym and just couldn't do it. Not only does it take way too much time, but it's just not fun enough for me. So today I was trying to think of something new to try out. I got a thought in my head reminding me about a bodybuilding principle that trains both your fast and slow twitch muscle fibers. Simply put, slow is for endurance - fast is for speed. In bodybuilding terms...slowly moving weight creates more muscle fibers (making you bigger) while rapidly moving weight creates more power. So I thought...why not put them together! Here's what you do: Think of 2 different exercises for a body part. One should involve weight and the other should be bodyweight or a much lighter weight. For example...weighted incline pushups and clapping pushups. Then you simply do one followed immediately by the other. So, do your weighted incline pushups very slowly for as many reps as possible (but not quite to failure) then rip the vest off and do clapping pushups. Obviously you don't need a vest or special equipment. Simply match the exercise to your fitness level. Then move onto the next body part. For more endurance you're better off doing a lower body exercise followed by upper body, and so forth. Take as little rest as possible between body parts. For your first time try doing it just one time through (for a total of 2 exercises per body part). As you build up your endurance, try doing 2 rounds of this workout. I can tell you one thing - by the end of your workout you're going to be wiped. This is muscle-building and fat-burning at it's finest. You'll have your beach body in no time! Try it out and let me know what you think. If nothing else, it'll add a little variety to your workout and spice things up a bit. Have a great weekend, Jeremy PS - Speaking of beach-bodies, Turbulence Training is your BEST chance to get one before you start going outside shirtless (for men) or with a bikini on (for women) for the summer. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to drop weight very, very quickly. PPS - Did I mention you can get Turbulence Training for just $4.95?
