Wrestling With A Partner - I Never Realized How Fun It Was! November 26, 2007 |
| My girlfriend and I were watching the Eagles game at my house tonight (only 12:20 left to go and they're going to beat the Patriots!).
During one of the commercial breaks, my girlfriend tried to pin me down - with no luck :) So we wrestled on my bed for a good 10 minutes, and then a light bulb suddenly went off in my head. "I have to tell my subscribers about this!" Me and Katie have been wrestling for awhile now, and I never realized just how much fun wrestling with a partner really is. Wrestling is a great exercise to help you burn some extra calories throughout the day. You're using your entire body like it should be used trying to either pin the other person down or get un-pinned when they get you down. You'll also notice that you'll get out of breath pretty quickly, since you're involving your entire body. Now don't get me wrong, I don't go all out on her because that would probably involve her getting thrown a few feet in the air, and obviously I don't want her getting hurt. Keep that in mind if you're a lot stronger than the person you're wrestling. If you don't have a girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse, then you can wrestle with any friend, a training partner, relative, your kids, or anybody else!
