Belly Dancing Brings It!
Sure it may not be on guys' radar, but for us gals, belly-dancing is an awesome way to get sexy abs.
Because it combines isometrics and dance moves, you'll burn calories while tightening your entire core.
Your lower and upper abs and your obliques will get a smooth, toned look and best of all, it's fun! It just feels good to spin and shimmy, gyrate and (yikes!) grind.
Probably the best way to start with belly-dancing is to find a class in your area.
Many places offer courses through recreational departments, through local dance studios, or through groups of like-minded folks just getting together.
Some gyms offer classes, but I haven't seen too many.
If those options aren't available or the thought of baring your belly in front of strangers is off-putting, there are numerous DVDs available, books with instructions and illustrations, and even television shows on cable fitness channels.
Once you get started, you won't even realize what a good work-out you're getting till all of a sudden your jeans start to feel loose - it's that fun.
And once you get a few moves down, you'll find yourself dancing with abandon whenever you get a chance.
