The Importance Of A Home Fitness Gym And What To Buy For It
Gym memberships are unbelievably expensive these days. Having a home fitness gym is becoming more and more important everyday.
Why Should You Have A Home Fitness Gym?
You shouldn’t have to spend $50 per month to train at a gym and not even get a personal trainer along with it.
If you’re spending $50 per month for a personal trainer that’s fine because they can dramatically increase your results, but just to use equipment? No way!The amazing thing is that developing your own homemade fitness gym isn’t as expensive as you might think it is.
Some people can build one for free and strictly do bodyweight exercises.
Others like me like to have everything (although I guess I should since I run a fitness website). Even I didn’t spend that much money!
What Will You Need To Buy
This depends on the individual. Also, since this is a website dedicated to making workouts fun, I’ll only include those items that I’d use myself.
And that's it. If you buy everything in that list you'll probably end up spending between $200-$250.
Obviously you don't have to get everything on there. If you're on a budget, you can go for the cheaper ab wheel and leave out the weighted vest.
Right there you'd save yourself about $100.
You can also buy other things like a Climbing Rope on your way to higher fitness levels, but things just mentioned will provide you with more than enough tools to aid your weight loss and muscle gain.
With the above suggestions, you'll have enough equipment to put in some incredible home gym workout routines.
Your Time Is Too Valuable
The next time you’re going to your local gym, count exactly how many minutes it takes out of your day.
Things to include should be:
Getting Ready To Leave
Driving There
Workout Time
Driving Home
To make it fair, start a stopwatch and place it on top of your dresser or somewhere in your house. Then start getting dressed and getting your workout stuff, go there and workout, then come home and stop the stopwatch.
I bet you’ll be amazed at just how much time it took out of your day.
On the other hand, ask others who already have a home fitness gym and see how long it takes them. For me, it takes roughly 45 minutes for my long workouts and about 20 minuets for my shorter workouts.
If I really had to I can shorten them even further, like I’ve done many times.
You’ll Have No Excuses
If you develop a good home fitness gym, you’ll have absolutely no excuses why you can’t work out. No more “well the weathers bad, I don’t feel like driving in this”.
This alone will increase your fitness levels because you’ll be more consistent.
You’ll Be More Focused
A major reason that only some people see fantastic results in their fitness training programs is because they develop tremendous focus.
Without focus, you won’t go anywhere. You won’t gain the mind-body connection needed to succeed in getting stronger. You’ll perform much less intensely. Sometimes, you won’t even finish a workout!
Instead of lecturing about this, I’m just going to ask you one single question.
Where do you think it’s easier to focus; at a loud gym with 30 other people in it, or in the comfort of your own home, locked away in a quiet room?
