Jump Rope Training

I had a Junior High basketball coach, over 40 years ago, who was also my P.E. teacher.

He was an elderly gentleman who was in excellent physical condition.

Before each practice, we had to jump rope at least 600 rotations.

I can attest to the fact that it was an excellent method of getting us in shape rapidly, and it dramatically helped with developing our coordination.

Years later, I decided to purchase a jumping rope when I was in College. Once again, I found that it helped me stay in shape and that it was just great fun.

At 56, I decided to buy a jumping rope to complement my exercise routine. It is like riding a bike.

No matter how long you have been away from jumping rope, it all comes back to you including the fond memories.

600 Rotations with the rope?
by: Damian

You say this kind of jump rope training is like riding a bike?

I wish I could do that and I am half your age!

I got to buy a rope now too and see if I can do 25 rotations. When I am close to 600 I will get back with you....lol.

Keep up the good work.
