Well milk isn't exactly a protein supplement, but I agree that it's a good source of protein.
One great benefit of whey protein (which in my opinion is the best protein supplement), is that it gets into your muscles very quickly after your consume it.
Although milk is a good, complete protein - it doesn't do quite as good of a job as whey does.
However, drinking skim milk mixed with whey is great for after a workout!
