Some Very Basic Jump Rope Lessons
Here are some very basic but necessary jump rope lessons.
First, you should hold each rope in your hands steadily, swinging the rope under your feet then over your head.
Next, jump over the rope when it goes under your feet.
Try and stay at an even, steady flowing pace. Jumping rope while listening to music with a good steady beat helps.
Try double jumping for extra fun. This requires great concentration on jumping rope and enhances your body awareness.
Don't drop the rope during the process. Keep a firm grip on the handle at all times.
Make sure your feet don't get caught on the rope.
