walking lunges

I first discovered this leg exercise years ago, back when Evander Holyfield was the heavyweight boxing champ.
They were showing a segment of his training
on television, and he grabbed a dumbbell in each hand and started doing lunges, but instead of one leg at a time, and returning to the starting position, he just kept going forward, one leg after the other.
Well, Holyfield was always in great physical condition, not to mention being the champ, so I figured what's good enough for him is good enough for me.
So next time I went to the gym I started including them as part of my regular leg work-outs.
I'd just start walking around the perimeter of the gym, weaving in between the equipment, machines, and other people.
Needless to say, I was the only one that ever did this.
But, hey, THEY WORK!
